Smith Farm Scoops was born from a legacy rooted deep in Pennsylvania agriculture. Our family farm has been owned and operated for five generations and proudly holds the distinction of being a Pennsylvania Century Farm, continuously operating since 1901. What began as a family commitment to hard work, stewardship, and tradition has grown into a way of life that we are honored to share with others.
Today, Smith Farm is home to Black Angus cattle, fresh produce, and a family passionate about preserving the values that built our farm over a century ago. The farm is operated by our family team — John, CEO; his wife Joella, COO; their daughter Emily, CFO; and Emily’s husband Nick, Farm Foreman. Every member of our family plays a role in keeping the farm running and the tradition alive — including Maggie Mae, our beloved Australian Shepherd, who serves as the light of the farm and the ultimate cattle wrangler. Whether she’s helping move cattle, riding around the farm, or simply keeping everyone company, Maggie Mae is at the heart of daily life on the farm, and you may just see her featured in products and content.
The idea for Smith Farm Scoops was created by Emily, who holds a Master’s degree in Business and has always had a passion for all things office supplies, farm life, creativity, and social media. Combining her love for curated products, country living, and creating engaging online experiences, Emily envisioned a business that would bring the charm of farm life and the excitement of mystery scoops together in a unique and meaningful way.
At Smith Farm Scoops, we wanted to create something that reflects the lifestyle we love — cozy country living, western charm, farm-inspired finds, and the simple joy of a good surprise. Each mystery scoop is thoughtfully curated with items we personally love and would use ourselves.
